Terms of Use
Last updated 2026-10-02. By using Hyppo’s website, accounts, or software, you agree to these terms.
Service
Hyppo provides local-first recording and meeting intelligence tools, plus optional account, billing, and sync features. Free and paid plans are described on the Pricing page.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.
Your content
You retain ownership of recordings, transcripts, and notes you create. You grant Hyppo only the limited rights needed to operate optional features you enable (for example encrypted sync or CRM connectors you configure).
Acceptable use
- Do not use Hyppo to violate law, privacy rights, or confidentiality obligations
- Do not attempt unauthorized access to systems or other users’ data
- Do not reverse engineer or resell the service except as permitted by law or a written agreement
Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Fees, renewals, and cancellations follow the plan you select and Stripe’s checkout/portal flows. Free tier limits (such as the 2-minute cap per video) apply unless you upgrade.
Software license
Desktop installers are licensed for your use under these terms and any accompanying license notice. The software is provided “as is” except where mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hyppo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data caused by local device failure, misconfiguration, or third-party services you connect.
